Grand Canyon, March 2010, shot from the south rim at the Visitor Center of the Grand Canyon Village. We were out at sunrise and shot until about 9:30 a.m. The rim is at about 7000 ft (2134m) above sea level. The temperature started at about 11*F, but rose to about 30*F (0*C) around quitting time. The first four images are Panoramas created from multiple vertical shots; the rest are full frame, or cropped. We had every intention of hiking down into the canyon, but a snow storm the night before and the frozen conditions unfortunately made the trails inaccessible.
